Tradition meets Contemporary: Shaping the Italian Student Experience

 In Non categorizzato

Over the last years, Italy has gradually become one of the most exciting opportunities for the student living industry.  This upswing is mainly fueled by the internationally renowned Italian universities. Milan, Bologna, Rome, Turin and Florence are attracting vast amounts of young talents.

This wave of talented urbanites is now rapidly shaping new Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) developments. Indeed, the undersupplied Italian student housing market offers a large spectrum of growth possibilities for investors that are looking to expand their portfolio. With its strong design tradition, Italy has an eye for materialization and details: two fundamentals that make lively and inviting buildings for young talent.

The different aspects of this theme will be developed the next June 21st, in Florence, during the conference ‘TRADITION MEETS CONTEMPORARY: SHAPING THE ITALIAN STUDENT EXPERIENCE’ organized by the experts of The Class of 2020, at the new headquarters of The Student Hotel, from 14.00 to 16.30.

During the seminar, institutions and local realities will present and discuss the dynamics of the student housing market and how this sector is ready to respond to the new needs of the society, towards the creation of a “student-friendly” ideal city that specifically accommodates guests conceived, in harmony with the structure of our cities.

Nowadays, among the confirmed speakers, we can find the deputy mayor Giovanni Bettarini (City of Florence), Tiziana Marchi (Polimoda), Michelangelo Giombini (Maniffatura Tabacchi), Claudio Francese (Uniplaces), Federico Galardi (rtmliving) and Walter La Gamma (Camplus).
