The Italian agri-food industry meets Pennsylvania State
In occasion of Joseph Burke’s visit to Italy, on June 4th Emilia-Romagna region will host a seminar dedicated to business opportunities for the agri-food sector. Burke is Deputy Secretary Economic Development of the Pennsylvania State and will be in our country with a govern delegation for an economic trip designed to strenghten ties with European businesses.
The seminar “The Italian agri-food industry meets Pennsylvania State” will be held at Fico Foundation, located inside FICO Eataly World thematic park, which is particularly suitable and representative for the cluster it addresses. This seminar aims to involve the Italian companies interested in internationalization.
The event will start at 11.30 AM and will be participated by several authorities, such as:
- Palma Costi, Emilia-Romagna Region Councilor for productive activities, energetic plan, green economy and post-earthquake reconstruction;
- Ruben Sacerdoti, Emilia-Romagna Region Responsible for attractiveness and internationalization;
- Patrizia Marani, Italian Director of Pennsylvania State
- Joseph Burke, Pennsylvania State Deputy Secretary Economic Development.
Pennsylvania State will host a light lunch after the seminar during which the attending companies will have the chance to meet the State representatives and may ask further questions about development opportunities, partnerships and investments in Pennsylvania State, which is particularly similar to our country for its main producion activities.
The visit to Italy will include several site visits to companies operating both in Bologna and Milan from June 4th to June 6th and will be the final stop for the delegation, that will also visit Ireland, Germany, Poland and Austria for a total duration of over two weeks. The mission’s objective is creating awareness of the investment opportunities and advantages to increase foreign direct investment in Pennsylvania.
