State of Tennessee at Mecspe!
The Government delegation of the State of Tennessee led by Bob Rolfe, Commissioner of the Department of Economic Development of the State took part to this edition of Mecspe, the leading trade fair in the manufacturing industry. The event, held from March 22nd to 24th, at the Parma Fair Grounds, is the meeting point between production technologies and industrial supply chains, thanks to its synergy between the 12 thematic halls that offer visitors a complete overview of materials, machines and innovative technologies and some unique initiatives such as the Digital Factory 4.0.
In Tennessee the manufacturing sector represents a fundamental area of the economy, accounting for over 16% of the total state output and employing 11.5 percent of the workforce. For this reason, we could not fail to take part to this event that every year counts more than 2,000 exhibitors and 53,000 visitors.
On Thursday 22th morning, Commissioner Rolfe took part to the roundtable, organized by Parma fair, where he presented some of the benefits that the US State gives to Italian companies interested in expanding their business in the United States. In the afternoon, the delegation had meetings with manufacturing companies interested in having specific information on the institutional aids they can receive.
A special thanks to Commissioner Rolfe and Deputy Commissioner Allen Borden who are always available to help investors. Although they are back in the US, Bees Communication, the Italian branch of the Tennessee Economic and Community Development Department, is always available for Italian companies willing to have information and help during their internationalization process to the United States of America.
